玉猪龙:五千年前的“中华龙”雏形 Jade Pig-Dragon: An Early Form of the Chinese Dragon


玉猪龙是红山文化最具代表性的玉器之一,距今约 5000—6500年,主要出土于今天的辽宁、内蒙古一带。它以玉石雕刻而成,拥有猪一样的头部和卷曲的身体。
The Jade Pig-Dragon is one of the most iconic jade artifacts of the Hongshan Culture, dating back about 5,000–6,500 years. It was mainly found in present-day Liaoning and Inner Mongolia. It has a pig-like head and a curled body.
它并不一定是我们今天熟悉的龙,而可能是早期龙形象的雏形。红山先民将不同动物的特征结合在一起,创造出具有神秘色彩的神灵形象。
It may not have been a “dragon” in the modern sense, but it could represent an early form of the Chinese dragon. Hongshan people combined features of different animals to create a mysterious and sacred creature.
