\nFish skin painting is a unique traditional folk craft of the Hezhe people in Heilongjiang. Different from common graphic arts such as paper-cut, printmaking and New Year paintings, it uses fish skins of freshwater and migratory fish such as salmon, sturgeon and carp as raw materials, and is made through multiple processes including softening, scaling, tanning, dyeing, cutting and pasting. It is a unique visual carrier of northern fishing and hunting ethnic culture. In early years, the Hezhe people made clothes, boots and pouches from fish skin, and fish skin painting evolved from the decorative patterns of fish skin clothing. Traditional themes mostly include fishing and hunting work scenes, shaman totems and creatures in rivers, forests and mountains, with a rough and simple style and strong cold-region fishing and hunting cultural charm.
\n\u9c7c\u76ae\u753b\u7684\u5236\u4f5c\u8bb2\u7a76 \u201c\u56e0\u6750\u65bd\u827a\u201d\uff0c\u5320\u4eba\u9700\u6839\u636e\u4e0d\u540c\u9c7c\u76ae\u7684\u5929\u7136\u7eb9\u7406\u3001\u539a\u5ea6\u4e0e\u8272\u6cfd\u8bbe\u8ba1\u56fe\u6848\uff0c\u65e0\u9700\u989d\u5916\u989c\u6599\u6253\u5e95\uff0c\u5b8c\u5168\u4f9d\u6258\u9c7c\u76ae\u672c\u8eab\u7684\u8d28\u611f\u4e0e\u8272\u5dee\u5448\u73b0\u753b\u9762\u5c42\u6b21\u3002\u7531\u4e8e\u8d6b\u54f2\u65cf\u4eba\u53e3\u57fa\u6570\u8f83\u5c0f\uff0c\u4e14\u4f20\u7edf\u6e14\u730e\u751f\u6d3b\u65b9\u5f0f\u9010\u6e10\u53d8\u8fc1\uff0c\u638c\u63e1\u5b8c\u6574\u9c7c\u76ae\u753b\u97a3\u5236\u4e0e\u5236\u4f5c\u6280\u827a\u7684\u4f20\u627f\u4eba\u6570\u91cf\u6781\u5c11\uff0c\u8fd9\u9879\u5de5\u827a\u66fe\u4e00\u5ea6\u6fd2\u4e34\u5931\u4f20\u3002\u5982\u4eca\u5b83\u4ec5\u4f5c\u4e3a\u5c0f\u4f17\u975e\u9057\u9879\u76ee\u88ab\u4fdd\u62a4\u6027\u4f20\u627f\uff0c\u4f5c\u54c1\u591a\u6536\u85cf\u4e8e\u6c11\u65cf\u535a\u7269\u9986\u4e0e\u5730\u65b9\u6587\u5316\u9986\uff0c\u666e\u901a\u5927\u4f17\u5f88\u5c11\u6709\u673a\u4f1a\u63a5\u89e6\u5230\u8fd9\u9879\u72ec\u5177\u7279\u8272\u7684\u5317\u65b9\u6e14\u730e\u5de5\u827a\u3002
\nThe production of fish skin painting emphasizes “adapting techniques to materials”. Craftsmen need to design patterns according to the natural texture, thickness and color of different fish skins, without additional pigment base, and rely entirely on the texture and color difference of the fish skin itself to present the picture layers. Due to the small population base of the Hezhe people and the gradual change of traditional fishing and hunting lifestyle, there are very few inheritors who master the complete tanning and production techniques of fish skin painting, and this craft was once on the verge of extinction. Today, it is only inherited protectively as a niche intangible cultural heritage project, and most works are collected in ethnic museums and local cultural centers.
