Known as a &#8220;living fossil of drama&#8221;, it is a very niche traditional folk ritual of ethnic minorities. Different from common Peking Opera, Kunqu Opera and local flower lantern operas, it is primitive and simple without stage modifications, performed only in specific Yi sacrificial festivals with extremely limited audience and communication scope.<br \/>\n\u64ae\u6cf0\u5409\u6574\u4f53\u4ee5\u796d\u7940\u3001\u7948\u798f\u3001\u9a71\u90aa\u4e3a\u6838\u5fc3\u5185\u6838\uff0c\u8868\u6f14\u5168\u7a0b\u4f69\u6234\u53e4\u6734\u6728\u8d28\u9762\u5177\uff0c\u6f14\u5458\u8eab\u7740\u7c97\u5e03\u9ed1\u8863\uff0c\u4ee5\u6781\u7b80\u7684\u80a2\u4f53\u52a8\u4f5c\u3001\u53e4\u6734\u7684\u5f5d\u8bed\u541f\u5531\u6f14\u7ece\u5148\u6c11\u8fc1\u5f99\u3001\u5f00\u8352\u3001\u519c\u8015\u3001\u7e41\u884d\u7684\u8fdc\u53e4\u6545\u4e8b\u3002\u6574\u5957\u4eea\u5f0f\u6ca1\u6709\u534e\u4e3d\u5531\u8154\u4e0e\u7e41\u590d\u9053\u5177\uff0c\u4fdd\u7559\u4e86\u897f\u5357\u5c11\u6570\u6c11\u65cf\u6700\u539f\u59cb\u7684\u5deb\u672f\u796d\u7940\u4e0e\u620f\u5267\u96cf\u5f62\u5f62\u6001\u3002<br \/>\nCentering on sacrifice, blessing and exorcism, the whole Cuotaiji performance features ancient wooden masks worn by performers, who wear coarse black clothes and interpret the ancient stories of ancestors&#8217; migration, land reclamation, farming and reproduction with minimalist body movements and ancient Yi language chants.
